Former Bonita High School standout Brooklyn Shroyer took the field with the UNC Greensboro Spartans on Wednesday, April 8, at 5 p.m. as her team secured a 7-6 victory over the Charlotte 49ers in their NCAA Division I softball game.
UNCG Softball Stadium hosted the event, marking the teams’ first meeting of the season.
Shroyer pitched 1.1 innings, allowing one earned run, walking two and striking out one batter.
The Spartans are slated to play again on Saturday, April 11, at Hope Field against the Wofford Terriers.
