Judy Chu, U.S. Congresswoman representing California’s 28th district since 2009, posted a series of messages on September 3, 2025, addressing recent legal and political developments involving former President Donald Trump and ongoing issues in Congress.

In her first post at 17:28 UTC, Chu wrote: “@ACLU @HouseDemocrats Yesterday, Trump lost in court AGAIN. A judge ruled his illegal deployment of the Guard & Marines to LA violated federal law. Americans spoke out & we won. Keep raising your voices. Together, we’ll keep holding him accountable.”

An hour later, at 18:31 UTC, she addressed transparency concerns regarding former President Trump: “This is not a hoax. Survivors have told their stories. Donald Trump is hiding the truth from the American people—and Republicans are helping him cover it up by blocking the release of the files. That’s why I proudly signed the bipartisan Massie/Khanna Discharge Petition to”
