Judy Chu, U.S. Congresswoman representing California’s 28th district since 2009, shared a series of updates on her official X account highlighting community events and local achievements.
On November 3, 2025, Chu promoted an event for veterans and military spouses in Los Angeles: “This #NationalVeteransSmallBusinessWeek, join the @LA_VBOC for an in-person lender panel & conversation for Veterans and military spouses on Wednesday at @PCCLancer from 7-9pm. Chu has represented California’s 28th congressional district since replacing Hilda Solis in Congress in 2009. She previously served in the California State Assembly from 2001 to 2006. Born in Los Angeles in 1953 and currently residing in Monterey Park, Chu graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974.
