Judy Chu highlights community funding and national achievements in recent tweets

Judy Chu, a U.S. Congress member representing California's 28th district, has been actively engaging with her community and addressing national issues through social media. In a series of tweets, she highlighted local development projects, celebrated political achievements under the current administration, and commemorated important observances.

On November 19, 2024, Judy Chu shared her involvement in a local initiative by joining leaders from the City of Rosemead to present an $800,000 check aimed at upgrading Garvey Park. She noted that "The city will be enhancing picnic infrastructure, adding playground equipment & workout machines, along with other projects!"

The following day on November 20, Chu extended birthday wishes to President Biden while highlighting key accomplishments during his tenure. She mentioned that "Under President Biden America has seen: ✅12M+ jobs created ✅A Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that is rebuilding America ✅$300B CHIPS & Science Act fueling manufacturing" and concluded with a light-hearted note for the president to enjoy his birthday treats.

Later on November 20, Chu marked Transgender Day of Remembrance by emphasizing the importance of honoring victims of hate and violence against transgender individuals. As a member of the Equality Caucus, she stated her commitment to creating a safer world for all people. She expressed this sentiment by saying "Transgender Day of Remembrance is a time to honor the victims of hate and violence...I will always work to make a world where everyone can live authentically and safely."
