Judy Chu, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 28th district since 2009, has expressed her views on recent political developments through a series of tweets. The congresswoman, who succeeded Hilda Solis in 2009 and has served in various legislative roles since 2001, shared her reactions to actions taken by former President Donald Trump and his remarks.

In a tweet posted on March 5, 2025, Judy Chu simply stated: "Exactly." This brief comment was accompanied by a link, suggesting agreement or emphasis on a particular subject not explicitly mentioned in the tweet.

Later that day, at approximately 3:31 AM UTC, Chu criticized former President Trump with another tweet: "Trump insults the American people by saying, 'let's bring back law and order'. Among his first acts as president? Pardoning 1500 violent felons involved in the January 6 attacks on our U.S. Capitol and democracy." In this statement, she condemned Trump's decision to pardon individuals associated with the January 6 Capitol attack.

Continuing her critique on March 5 at around 3:54 AM UTC, Chu tweeted about inappropriate language used during an address to the nation: "On top of the countless lies, to have an ethnic slur hurled in the middle of the address to the American people is inexcusable. We cannot treat this behavior as normal. I left." Her message highlighted her disapproval of what she described as unacceptable conduct during such significant communications.
