Congresswoman Judy Chu, representing California's 28th district, recently shared several initiatives and observations via Twitter regarding key social and legislative activities. Her posts reflect her ongoing commitment to civil rights, healthcare, and supporting marginalized communities.

On March 31, 2025, Chu marked César Chávez Day by highlighting her participation with the Latino & Latina Roundtable of the San Gabriel and Pomona Valley. "This weekend, I joined the Latino & Latina Roundtable of the San Gabriel and Pomona Valley to honor Chávez’s legacy and celebrate community leaders who advocate for immigrants and justice. Together, we carry on his fight for civil rights."

Later that day, she discussed legislative efforts marking the end of National Nutrition Month. She announced the introduction of the Nutrition CARE Act. "As National Nutrition Month comes to a close, I’m introducing the Nutrition Counseling Aiding Recovery for Eating Disorders (Nutrition CARE) Act with @RepBrianFitz, @RepPaulTonko & @RepDonBacon. This bill will expand access to life-saving eating disorder treatment for seniors."

Concluding her March 31 postings, Chu addressed transgender rights. In a message recognizing Trans Day of Visibility, she reaffirmed her support for the trans community as Vice Chair of the Equality Caucus. "Today is Trans Day of Visibility — a day to honor, support and celebrate the trans community. As Vice Chair of the @EqualityCaucus, I will always stand with you and with the trans community as we fight back against Republicans' unjust, un-American attacks on human rights."
