Judy Chu, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 28th district, has been actively engaging with her constituents through social media updates. Her recent posts cover various topics, including local community support and legislative efforts.

On January 25, 2025, Chu shared details about her visit to Commissioner Ricardo Lara’s Insurance Support Workshop. She stated: "I just finished a visit to Commissioner Ricardo Lara’s Insurance Support Workshop where reps are helping connect Eaton Fire impacted homeowners w/ insurance resources to recover." In a post dated January 27, 2025, Chu commemorated International Holocaust Remembrance Day. She expressed: "80 years ago, Auschwitz was liberated. Today on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the six million Jewish victims, along with millions of others, brutally murdered by the Nazis." She urged unity in combating antisemitism and all forms of hate and bigotry.

Later that day on January 27, Chu announced her reintroduction of legislation aimed at supporting performers financially affected by recent events. She tweeted: "Today, I reintroduced the Performing Arts Tax Parity Act with @VernBuchanan to help working-class performers once again deduct work-related expenses from their taxes." This initiative is particularly significant for those recovering after the Eaton Fire in Altadena.
