Judy Chu, serving as a U.S. Congress member representing California's 28th district since 2009, shared insights and concerns through a series of tweets on recent social and policy issues. With a history of public service in California and a background from the University of California, Los Angeles, Chu addresses significant topics affecting her constituents and the broader public.

In a tweet dated April 8, 2025, Chu highlighted concerns regarding data privacy and fiscal contributions by undocumented immigrants. She stated, "People here without documentation trust the IRS to protect their personal data. They then pay tens of billions in federal tax and subsidize Social Security, & Medicare for citizens. This is an unprecedented violation of privacy laws, encourages tax evasion, betrays those who".

Continuing on April 8, 2025, Chu expressed apprehension about budget cuts affecting the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She tweeted, "Trump’s cuts to @NIH are putting us all at risk. And Republicans are doing nothing to stop him. Why are they attacking American innovation? My constituent, Dr. Kelley-Quon — a pediatric surgeon whose grant was impacted — deserves better."

On April 9, 2025, Chu issued a reminder concerning debris removal services available to Los Angeles County residents. She wrote, "REMINDER Less than a week left to submit your LA County Right of Entry form for free debris removal. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will clear debris from your property at no cost. Make sure to sign up by Tuesday, April 15th."
