Judy Chu, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 28th district, has expressed her views on various issues through recent tweets. She has served in Congress since 2009 and previously held a position in the California State Assembly from 2001 to 2006.

On January 29, 2025, Judy Chu tweeted about the current state of affairs under what she referred to as "the Trump Administration 2.0." She stated that there have been "24 hrs of deliberate, intentional confusion and chaos" affecting essential services such as Meals on Wheels, community health centers, hospitals, police stations, and Head Start programs as they attempt to determine their funding status.

Later that day, at 20:29 UTC, Chu reported meeting with FEMA alongside bipartisan members of the House Appropriations Committee. The meeting focused on "hazardous material cleanup & disposal at Eaton Fire victims' properties," highlighting efforts to secure necessary aid for affected areas.

In another tweet posted at 22:10 UTC on January 29th, Chu addressed concerns over mifepristone access. She warned that "taking the safe drug mifepristone off pharmacists' shelves - or banning women's ability to receive it by mail - would be a national abortion ban." She linked this issue to Project 2025 and noted former President Trump's previous claims of ignorance regarding the project.
