In her first tweet on February 3, 2025, Judy Chu celebrated Black History Month by highlighting the significant contributions made by Black Americans in her district and across the country. She stated: "Happy Black History Month! #CA28 has been home to many remarkable Black Americans who have made incredible contributions to society. Our country's diversity is our strength, and Black Americans' impact and Black history will never be erased."

Later that day, she expressed concern about an unelected billionaire gaining control over the U.S. Treasury's payment systems. On February 3, 2025, she tweeted: "My offices have been bombarded w/ calls from constituents outraged that an unelected billionaire has taken control of @USTreasury payment systems w/ personal information & control of taxpayer funds. My @WaysMeansCmte colleagues & I will work to end this dangerous abuse of power."

Finally, addressing education policy issues on February 3, 2025, Chu supported Representative McBride's stance against plans to dismantle the Department of Education using USAID strategies.
