Judy Chu, a U.S. Congress member representing California's 28th district, recently took to social media to express her concerns on several pressing issues. In a series of tweets posted on February 6, 2025, she addressed topics ranging from the handling of wildfire victim testimonies to data privacy concerns involving Elon Musk.

In her first tweet of the day, Judy Chu criticized Jim Jordan for not allowing testimony from elected representatives like herself and Brad Sherman regarding districts affected by wildfires. She stated that the real objective of the Judiciary GOP hearing was "to denigrate fire victims and the state of California," emphasizing that "the victims need help now." "@Jim_Jordan refused to allow the testimony of the elected representatives of the districts impacted by the wildfires - that is, @BradSherman and me."

Later in the day, Chu joined forces with Rep. Gwen Moore to demand answers concerning their constituents' fears about personal information potentially falling into Elon Musk's hands. They pledged persistence in uncovering what they described as an "illegal and unprecedented lack of transparency." ".@RepGwenMoore and I demanded answers on behalf of our constituents..."

In her final tweet, Chu accused MAGA Republican majorities in Congress of failing to prevent Elon Musk and others from accessing private data and tax dollars.
