Judy Chu, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 28th district, shared several updates on April 7, 2025, via her Twitter account. Her posts addressed ongoing efforts in the aftermath of the Eaton Fire, the issue of equal pay for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander women, and the recognition of community efforts in disaster recovery.

On April 7, 2025, Chu emphasized her commitment to the community affected by the Eaton Fire, stating, "I’ve heard your concerns about soil testing, and I want you to know I’m fighting to ensure our community rebuilds from the Eaton Fire — swiftly and safely."

Later that day, Chu highlighted the wage disparity faced by AANHPI women, noting that, "For every $1 paid to white, non-Hispanic men, AANHPI women earn just 83¢. We must close the wage gap and ensure equal pay for equal work."

In another post on the same day, she expressed gratitude to KTLA for their coverage of recovery efforts, stating, "Thank you, @KTLA, for shining a light on the incredible efforts of the @COREresponse team, providing free smoke remediation for victims of the Eaton Fire."
